We named this class with "Sasando" as this particular Indonesian traditional musical instrument could amplify the atmosphere in every nature of occasion, yet maintain its genuineness. > "Sasando" is a traditional musical instrument from West Timor and used within the Timorese community for all kinds of social events. It is a unique kind of plucked instrument, its uniqueness being the fact that its strings, its sound source, are fastened around its main resonator. In addition to its uniqueness, Sasando also has a second resonator, made from leaves of Palmyra palm.
